What if there isn’t a dealer in my area?
We now have Buy Now button links to Retailer who offer mail order for each of our products. Click Buy Now on the product you want and you’ll have a choice of Retailers to choose from. Each of these Retailers is happy to ship your new paddle directly to you.

How do I know what size shaft works best for me?
If you don't have the opportunity to try both Standard and Small shaft on the water there are a few simple measurements come very handy. Pun intended! Measure your hand from the base of the palm to the tip of your middle finger. If your measurement is 6 1/2" or smaller you should buy our small shaft. If your measurement is 7" or greater you do not need to try a small shaft UNLESS you wear gloves. If you measure 6 1/2 - 7" We recommend trying the small and standard shaft before deciding. Call us to arrange a small shaft for you to demo.

What are the benefit of carbon paddles?
Light weight and stiffness. The stiff nature of carbon allows us to use less material, thus lighter weight, while still achieving our high specification standards for performance, durability and strength.

How do I care for my Adjustable Ferrule?
You can keep your Adjustable Ferrule System working at peak performance by following three simple steps.

Step 1. After every use take your paddle apart and rinse both sides inside and out with fresh water.

Step 2. Store your paddle hanging apart with blades up.

Step 3. NEVER use a lubricant on your ferrule!

Our ferrules don’t like lubricants but they love lots of water!

Click on this link for our instructional video on proper ferrule maintenance.

Can you retro-fit my paddle with the adjustable ferrule system?
No. The shaft used with our Adjustable Ferrule System is different than the shaft used with our other ferrule systems. The shaft has been specially modified to accommodate the precise fit of our Adjustable Ferrule System.

Do you sell ferrule kits?
No. To ensure the performance and reliability of your two-piece paddle meets your expectations we do all ferrule conversions and repairs at our factory.

Can I get a new blade put on my paddle?
In most situations we can replace a blade for approximately half the cost of a paddle. Each situation is unique and must be evaluated by our repair department. Please call us at 800 275-3311 to review your situation.

I have a repair and warranty question. What should I do?
Please email repairs@wernerpaddles.com or call us at 800-275-3311 for a Return Authorization number before sending any product to Werner Paddles. Werner Paddles extends a one year warranty from the original date of purchase for defects in material and workmanship. If your paddle repair is not covered under our warranty we can usually repair it, depending on how old the paddle is, for a reasonable charge. The turn around time is usually 2 weeks plus shipping time.
